Our Story & Mission

Love L'Ocean came to be with my long-time career of bartending,
and it has been years in the making. I had dry hands from being
behind the bar, always in water, etc. I started looking at what natural
ingredients I could put together in my kitchen to remedy this. That is
how the Body Butter came to be. It contains 4 ingredients all plant
based.

I let a few people I worked with try it out, as I kept a small jar in my
purse. One girl used it on her tattoos and called me to tell me they
looked better than ever (one use). I had my massage therapist/
reflexologist try it for foot massage and she loved the tacky texture
for this (#2). Another bartender tried it and told me it got rid of her
psoriasis on her hands and arms (#3).

Nine years ago when I lived in Carolina Beach, NC, there was a
"weed" that intrigued me. I looked it up and started mixing (blender)
with coconut oil for my face and body. It is Gotu Kola aka Centella
asiatica. Years later, I was finally able to find and purchase Centella
Asiatica powder to make the Face Butter and adding Blue Tansy that
gives it the green hue and aroma. Adding your favorite serum helps
the glide factor.

My goal is to be able to donate to causes for the environment and
inhabitants of the planet while sharing these basic, affordable
plant-based products with the public. My hopes are that I will
eventually have time to volunteer by not working in the mainstream
world.

I am truly grateful for so many people assisting and believing in me
